Chatelet – another three starred hotel but it’s not the same as the Monarque. The rooms could get really small that you’ll have to get another room if you come in groups. The great thing about this hotel is its cleanliness and the personnel are really nice to everyone. Parking is also free when you’re staying there. This is a great plus since the parking fee in Chartres are naturally exorbitant.
Jehan de Beauce - If you’re planning to have a little bit of night life, then this is your hotel. You can easily find this hotel once you arrive in train station and a Hard Rock Café is nearby. If you don’t like the noises in your street, make sure you get a room that’s close to the courtyard. The street could get really noisy and you won’t be able to get some sleep early at night.
Hotel l'Ecu – the hotel for the ultimate budget hunter. This is undoubtedly the cheapest hotel in the area. The hotel unfortunately has no stars. It’s because the hotel hasn’t seen any development for the last decade…even more. Since you’ll be in the ultimate budget hotel, don’t expect that things will be very nice. The room is neat and tidy but the food is not really that good. There are a lot of restaurants there and you’re better off with them. It’s not a hotel that can give you a restful night but you’ll just have to content yourself with the accommodation. The best rooms in this hotel are far away from the street.
